  Australia - Testing Report

Constructive second day in Phillip Island for Pedrosa
Dani Pedrosa has completed an active second day in the Bridgestone tyre test in Phillip Island, finishing second with a time of 1’29.381 recorded on lap 20 of 58. With fantastic weather conditions, Dani was able to fulfil Bridgestone’s plan including a long run of 20 laps which he reported positively on, even though he hit a bird in the process.
The three-day test will conclude tomorrow, when rain is expected to hit the Australian circuit, and signals an end to Winter testing for the Factory teams.

2nd - 1'29.381

“Today we tried two more tyres with a different construction - but with the same compound - and the feeling was not great with them. In any case, we picked the best of what we have tried over the past two days and put in 20 laps with those tyres. That experiment worked rather well, but it's really Bridgestone who have to analyse the data and give us their feedback for us to work with tomorrow”
