AMA Pro Flat Track: Sammy Halbert Healed Up and Ready to Go for Stockton Half-Mile Round 3 on May 11
Sammy Halbert gets some help after the first practice session of the day at the Springfield Mile II from his Dad, Willy at round 13 of the 2012 AMA Pro Flat Track Grand National Championship season on September 16. The Slammer had a strong day at the Illinois State Fairgrounds mile oval, bringing his #7 The South Ass/South East H-D/Kings Kustoms-sponsored XR750 home in the 2nd-place spot for the day behind winner Bryan Smith.
Halbert, who was forced to sit out the season-opening rounds of the 2013 AMA Pro Flat Track presented by J&P Cycles Grand National Championship season at Daytona due to injuries, is reported to be mended up and ready to head to Stockton for round 3 of the season at the San Joaquin County Fairgrounds half-mile coming up in just over a week's time. He's listed on the pre-entry list for the May 11 event.
Check out the news report below, thanks to AMA Pro Flat Track.
