AMA Pro Racing Signs MotoBatt to Multiyear Partnership for AMA Road Racing & AMA Flat Track

Zanotti Racing crew chief Ted McDermitt gets ready to fire up the #5 Zanotti Racing/Schaeffer's H-D/Supertrapp/NJK-sponsored H-D XR750 of rider Jake Johnson just prior to the start of the Springfield Mile II round at the Illinois State Fairgrounds on September 5, 2010.  Team rider coach and former AMA Grand National Championship rider #67 Mike Hacker looks on as the crowd gets ready for the 25-lap National main event at round 14 of the 2010 AMA Pro Flat Track Grand National Championship Series.  Johnson went on to finish 6th on the day, which propelled him and the Zanotti Racing team to their first of two-in-a-row AMA Grand National Championships.

MotoBatt's signing as a contingency sponsor for the AMA Pro National Guard Superbike Championship Series along with the AMA Pro Flat Track Grand National Championship Series will see them host the MotoBatt Hard Charger Award beginning in the 2012 season for the rider that comes the furthest through the field during a main event, and should help to expand the market for the MotoBatt brand in the U.S. market.  The company offers a full line of batteries, chargers and testers for the motorcycle market.
