2012 GEICO Motorcycle AMA Pro Road Racing Awards Banquet to be Held Monday, October 8th at Hyatt Regency New Orleans

DAYTONA BEACH, Fla. (August 2, 2012)
- AMA Pro Racing officials announced today that the Hyatt
Regency New Orleans will be the host venue for the GEICO Motorcycle AMA Pro Road
Racing 2012 season awards celebration. Following the October 5-7 season finale
at NOLA Motorsports Park, the Triumph Big Kahuna New Orleans presented by Dunlop
Tire and LeoVince, the Series will gather together at the beautiful hotel in
downtown New Orleans on Monday evening, October 8, 2012.
The semi-formal gathering
will commemorate the champion riders and top performers in AMA Pro National
Guard SuperBike, AMA Pro GoPro Daytona SportBike, AMA Pro
Motorcycle-Superstore.com SuperSport and the AMA Pro Vance & Hines XR1200
Series. In addition to rider awards, top entrants, manufacturers and mechanics
will also be lauded and all AMA Pro Racing riders, teams, industry members and
officials are invited to attend.

complements the uniqueness of the city, the Hyatt Regency New Orleans is located
adjacent to the Mercedes Benz Superdome and New Orleans Arena, blocks from the
French Quarter, Morial Convention Center and Mississippi River Front. The
Crescent City's premier meeting and convention hotel boasts 200,000 square feet
of state-of-the-art event space as well as strikingly sophisticated guest rooms

Awards Banquet tickets are
$65 per person and include a full cocktail reception, the awards dinner and
hosted bar throughout the evening. The night begins with the reception at 5:00
p.m. and is planned to conclude early in the 9:00 p.m. hour in order to allow
guests ample time to enjoy New Orleans' nightlife and attractions. Ticket order
forms must be received by the AMA Pro Racing offices in Daytona Beach, FL no
later than Friday, September 14, 2012; tickets will not be sold at the
door.
